Price column & loyalty points
For a few reasons (and wanting to see how much money I've wasted spent), I created a price column for my Calibre library.
Currently filling it out and noticed that Kobo lists the books 'purchased' with Kobo Super Points as 0.00 in the purchase history. Which makes sense but now I'm wondering how to handle those books. Would it make sense to put 0.00, or the cost I would have paid? Poll coming! ![]() Last edited by ownedbycats; 01-06-2023 at 08:54 PM. |

No loyalty program for ebooks is available in my country, but if it was, and I got a book for points, I'd put the price at 0.00

I have a price column too, and if I don't have to shell out money for a book because of credits and loyalty points, that book's price is $0.00. Hello, fellow detail oriented person!

I put .01 to indicate it was a loyalty purchase and not a freebee. It was just a choice I made back in 2012 so that I could track the actual outlay of unread materials that I have. There was no easy secondary way to indicate that I used loyalty cash. Our goals may be different as I'm only concerned about unread materials. Once it's read, I don't care what I paid. That outlay has now been used.
