How tp download an ebook that is not on Kobo.com
I want to download "Verity" by Coleen Hoover to my Clara HD, but it isn't available on the Kobo site. Is there a way to download this book from another site. If so can someone please explain how to me. Secondly, if I'm able to download it from another site will it have all the functionality of a book downloaded from Kobo.com?

I'm guessing the book has Adobe DRM. If that's the case you'll need to download and install ADE on your computer and set up an account with Adobe. Once that's done, you download the file from whatever bookstore you're buying it from into ADE and then hook up your Kobo to transfer the book to it from ADE.

If the book is not DRM protected, then it's just a matter of downloading its ePub version to your computer and copying it over to your Kobo.

ePub books don't have as many features as KePub books on Kobo devices. But you can convert ePubs into KePubs or patch your Kobo device to enable more of the KePub features (not all) for ePub books.

If the mtl in your username is for Montreal, I see this book at Amazon Canada says in the book details, "simultaneous usage: unlimited."

I've read on this site that detail is a good chance that this book has no DRM. If you already bought it, try adding it to Calibre and and go ahead and see if you can convert it to epub.

If it fails, then you'll need to explore Apprentice Alf as mentioned.

The book is available for Kindle on Amazon.ca. I downloaded Calibre, but when I click on "Get Books" the Amazon Kindle book does not come up. Do I have to set the format that I want to import to Caliber to AZW3 or MOBI in order for Calibre to find the book? If so how do I do that?

You will have to purchase the book through your Amazon account. Then download it either to a Kindle for PC install (check the sticky Dealing with Kindle for PC/Mac 1.19 and KFX in calibre in the calibre forum for more information) or using the Download and Transfer through USB option (this will need you to own a Kindle ereader). Then transfer the downloaded file to calibre with help from Apprentices Alf and Harper.

I've download DeDRM from Apprentice Alf and a KFX converter plugin into Calibre. What version of Kindle for PC should I use so that I can convert all Kindle formats to Epub?
