Personal documents

Hi,
How do I make Amazon send a personal document to my DX?
I email it to my Kindle's email address, but then get an email in my inbox telling me to download it to my PC, then transfer to Kindle, nothing is actually sent to the Kindle. It's already ON my PC, I want it on my Kindle.

I can't do that as my USB seems to be faulty, I can charge, but my PC (or laptop) won't accept the Kindle. They do accept another Kindle and the cord, so it's the Kindle. No wifi as the DX's didn't have that.

Any ideas?

In the Settings part of Manage Your Content and Devices do you have Whispernet Delivery Options set to Enabled along with something set for the Maximum Charge Limit? It costs $.15 per MB in the US for Personal Doc delivery over 3G and possibly more in the UK.

There is a note in that section on the MYCD page that says...
"Personal documents exceeding the maximum charge will not incur a fee and will only be available for delivery via Wi-Fi or USB transfer."

I'm going to move this one to spare, or possibly spare parts, most of what I read is side loaded and I don't need the hassle. At least it's still usable.
