Personal Documents

How can I download personal documents sent to my Kindle? I have looked at the Manage Device and Settings but there is not a way to download any documents I have. This stuff it not even in my Amazon Cloud documents.

From your kindle try checking docs,then press on the doc to que and download it.

Thanks but I did not make myself clear. I want/need to download the files to my computer.

I don't think there is a way to download them directly to a PC. You'd have to download them to a Kindle device and then connect that to a PC and copy them off that way.

EDIT: I take that back. I couldn't download them from Manage Your Content and Devices, but I went to https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive and all of the stuff I've sent to Kindle (only a few docs from way back) are found there in a folder called My Send-to-Kindle Docs and can be downloaded there.

I believe that Amazon stopped making new personal documents available via Amazon Drive some time ago. I add personal documents all the time via email, but the most recent one in my Amazon Drive is from April 2016.

I can imagine that you can still pull the document from the device (at least a Kindle device), but there's no way to download any longer.
