Scribd/e-book subscription sites on Kobo
I read somewhere that if you read books from e-book subscripton site Scribd via the Scribd/Google Play app, then it's possible to transfer them into epub format in order to read them on a Kobo. Has anyone managed to do this? I'm desperate to read Scribd books on the Kobo but can't work out how!
Failing that, does anyone know of any e-book subscription sites which are compatible with Kobo? 24Symbols, Scribd, Playster all seem not to be compatible with Kobo. |

The answer is no, you can't.
The only subscription service that can be read on eink is Kindle Unlimited, on a Kindle. Although --there are some European eink devices that run Android, and in those cases, you may be able to read Scribd books. I'm not really sure how well that works. There may be a way to run android on a Kobo and then view Scribd books.....I haven't tried it, so you'd have to look around the forum. |
