Scribd on kobo

Does anyone know if we can read Scribd books on Kobo, if so on reader or tablet?
I'm a kindle girl but subscribed to Scribd and love it, unfortunately can't read the books on Kindle.

Pdf independent of format I can't read on kindle paperwhite as most books on Scribd are reading only not for downloading. Also the very few ones I downloaded Calibre could not convert to a readable format.
I heard you can read Scribd books on kobo, I just want to make sure before I get yet another reader.

Some of the Scribd books are available in pdf or epub format which the Kobo reader can handle. However, when I was looking at them a few weeks back since their subscription format sounded interesting, it appears that you need an iWhatever or Android with the Scribd app or tablet/laptop/whatever with a web browser to read most of those books.

David

@DNSB Yes, you probably right, it's possible to read on a tablet only. I do have an iPad but don't really use as a book reader. I may get a kobo tablet if its any good, I'm not sure.
