Where is the Sigil installtion file for windows?

Hey. Ok I'm sorry for this - most have gone technically illiterate as of lately - but I'm looking for that actual link or file to download Sigil (it's for windows Vista), but I can't find it on https://github.com/user-none/Sigil.

Help?

Across the top (ish) of that main github page, you'll see see four categories/tabs. One will be "Releases" (commits, branches, releases, and contributors). Click/tap "releases" to get to the downloads.

It's a bit non-intuitive for newcomers. I wish the releases link was more prominent.

Is anyone developing it now or is all work on the program been stopped for good? I remember that whomever was developing it had stopped due to not having enough time or something. And then of course a tool was developed as part of Calibre as well.

It's still being worked on. The 8.2 build was released in November 2014.

I just Google "Sigil releases" and the link comes up: https://github.com/user-none/Sigil/releases

Not only is it still being tweaked, but at least one recent tweak -- the Preview features -- makes the software immensely more valuable to me. It updates on the fly, so in effect you have WYSIWYG when working in Code View. Wunderbar!

Hi,
Yes, development of Sigil is back in full swing. FYI, Sigil 0.8.3 should be released shortly (this week?) with an upgrade to Qt 5.4 and lots of bug fixes and stability improvements.

Heavy development work will then begin on transforming Sigil to work with both epub2 and epub3 equally well. We will be replacing Tidy with Google's gumbo-parser, making flightcrew a plugin, bundling Python 3.4 into Sigil and using it in an embedded fashion, support tor html5, etc. This work will go on in an all new trunk.

If anyone wants a leg-up on the upcoming 0.8.3 release and its changes, see https://github.com/kevinhendricks/Sigil and read the ChangeLog.txt there.

All of this should be moving into user-nones tree shortly.
