I have never used Humble Bundle before. Does anyone know what do they mean by more books coming soon?

Not sure when it usually happens, but they add more books to the bundle at no additional charge.

It's tempting, but I just bought a big Baen bundle. Do I really need more?

Yes. Books are like Chinese food. You finish one, and you want another one in an hour...

Well, I went ahead and bought this bundle for $12, to get into the top tier, and I have no idea why. There's nothing here I especially want*, just a couple of things I'm mildly interested in, but I had a moment of weakness. Let's hope the additions are interesting, and not just another bunch of xkcd collections.

*I am actually reading The Healer's War right now, and like it so far, but I already owned that. It's been on my Real Soon Now list for about two years.

Just to clarify: they add books at no extra charge... for those who beat the average price. It used to be that anyone who bought during the first week would receive the new content, regardless of how much they paid. That is no longer the case.

I think ebook bundles start on Wednesdays, so the new books will be added next Wednesday (or a week after it started).

One thing I found interesting is that by loading the books into Calibre and reconverting them as (old) mobi files the size of the book files shrinks considerably. Before hand the 11 books took up almost 60 MB of space. After conversion they take up under 10 MB of space. Encounter with Tiber alone is almost 19 MB before conversion and drops to just under 3 MB afterward.

And a good price per book as well. At 11 books (currently) if you pay $12 that comes to $1.09 per book which isn't a bad price I think. I'm sure that as separate books they would each cost a good deal more than that.
Encounter with Tiber alone costs $7.69 over at Amazon so that's a savings of $6.60 + tax on that one book alone.
