Is this a bug? Time estimates.

I've got some kepubs that I sideloaded with Calibre. Originally epubs-why but I used the kepub extended touch plug in to send them as kepubs. Click image for larger version

My reader is telling me that I only have 3 seconds left in the current chapter even though I'm only at 70% and it tells me that I have 154 hours left in the book. It started at 50 and then 100 and now 150. Now I am not a fast reader but I'm pretty sure it's not going to take me 150 hours to get through this book. The Aura should be able to calculate the average speed to read a page and then calculate what the entire book will take. Why is it so far off?

Have you tried using genuine kePubs as opposed to ones that have been massaged by the calibre driver?

And is the TOC done properly? If not, it won't be right. Also it might improve over time, since it doesn't know your reading speed?

for instance, I had a book that I suspect saw empty pages between chapters as chapters themselves (with 0 seconds reading time)!

Does going to the next page fix the problem?

I get the impression that the time estimate is actually based upon sections rather than chapters. This leaves me wondering if it's seeing the tail end of an old section since you are starting on a new section.

Oh, and thank-you for the reminder of a book on my TBR list!
