The sales estimates for the 3G iPad launch weekend have been placed at 300K by Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster. It should be noted that Gene's initial WiFi launch weekend estimates were inaccurate.

i wouldn't bother listening to anyone's numbers but Apple's, if/when they release them.

The estimate was initially released to their clients. If they know then everyone should know. Lets see what it does (if anything) to Apples stock on Monday.

Maybe iPad 3G estimated sales can shrug off the market mentality for the day.

hmmm apple claims to have sold 1,000,000 ipads in 28 days. if this is true.. not to shabby. i know a lot of other manufacturers would like to sell that many of their products..
