Can't get usbnetwork and kterm working on my KOA3

Hi all, total newbie to this scene, really enjoying koreader, but trying to get kterm and usbnetwork running on my Kindle Oasis KOA3 and running into problems.

I've gone through using WinterBreak, the hotfix, installed kual, renameotabin, and koreader.

After that, I installed kterm. All three versions I downloaded from the fabiszewski site just crash KUAL when I run them. Does anyone know if these don't work on KOA3? Is there something I need to install before kterm will run?

Second issue I seem to be having is that neither version of usbnetwork that I've tried (kindle-usbnetwork-0.57.N-k4.zip and kindle-usbnet-0.22.N-r19297.tar.xz) seem to work--or at least, when I turn off renameotabin and put the update on root, the device tells me that the 0.57 version is an invalid update file, and the .22 version just gets deleted--if I try to run an Update the kindle tells me I'm on the latest version, and when I plug it back into the PC the .bin has been deleted.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

For me, since I was on firmware 5.17.1.0.3, I need hf support. From Kterm – terminal emulator with embedded keyboard, I downloaded kterm-kindle-2.6-armhf.zip which worked on my PW 10th gen. As for the USBNetwork, you need the USBNetlite package to support kindlehf firmware (any firmware 5.16.3 or later uses hardware floating point while the earlier firmware used software floating point). I downloaded that from kindle-usbnetlite selecting the Update_usbnetlite_1.0.M_install_khf.bin package under Releases.

Thank you so much! I'm on 5.17.1.0.3 also and this is exactly what I needed to know. kterm is now working perfectly! I'll work on USBNetlite next, but it seems that the hardware floating point is the piece of info I was missing!
