Tested: Chess on PRS-T1
If you've wanted to play chess on your reader, it's now possible with the PRS-T1.
The touchscreen and browser's good javascript compatibility makes it pretty enjoyable: castling and pawn promotion are present, along with an 'undo' button. Just go to http://p4wn.sourceforge.net/sven/ There's many other javascript games available, have others found some that work well with the PRS-T1? |

It's fun, but the screen often doesn't refresh properly and the computer is too easy even on the 'slow' setting. Last edited by Zeno_; 07-06-2012 at 06:40 AM. |

It does not seem worth it. When it works so well on the Kindle 3....they work perfectly on the Kindle 3.

It's possible on the Kobo Glo too, though I have not tried it yet.

Hi again,
what I did not yet find out is, if I can add android apps (maybe via play.google or via a different way) WITHOUT rooting my Sony T1. I tried to access play.goole via the normal browser and could of course access the site and browse the catalogue. But when looking for an app to install, it does not recognize my Sony T1 as a device. I only see my "samsung phone" ... thanks for help! ![]() bj |
