Calibre doesn't recognize my Library after Windows 11 reinstall
I had to reinstall Windows 11. After downloading Calibre I pointed it to my library location. Calibre only sees its own handbook, although there are many many folders containing books. I tried copying my library to a new location, still won't see my books. Not sure what I should do next? I'm gonna try to uninstall Calibre and start over again. Thanks for help if you know what I should do.

Right click on the library icon in the toolbar. Select Library maintenance > Restore database. That will read all of the directories and get the information from each metadata.opf file to rebuild the database. |

Thanks. I found a different solution -- I deleted all files in the Calibre library and then had the app copy my library from its backup location. I may have miissed a few books added since that backup, but all is good now. Of course, wished I'd waited for this. Might have made things easie.
