Sage teardown?

Has anyone opened up their Sage and shared photos of the internals? I'm curious as to the feasibility of transplanting the board and/or battery from a Libra 2 into the body of the Sage to improve battery life. I love the flush screen of my Sage, but the fact that the Libra 2 gets almost double the battery life of the Sage constantly irks me.

It's not feasible. I don't need to see the insides to know.

I thought I had seen a photo of the internals of the Sage, but, I can't quickly find it now. But...

The board from the Libra 2 is not going to fit into the Sage. At least not without modifying the shell to fit. I don't know if the connectors are compatible. Or positioned on the screen in ways that will reach where they are on the board. My bet would be that they won't. Then, the firmware that runs on the Libra 2 will not recognise the screen properly. Maybe you could patch the firmware to do it. But, I would not expect so.

As to the battery, you would be much better to try and source one that fits elsewhere. But, you would need the exact dimensions of the battery area on the device and the battery to make sure it fits. And you are not likely to find one that fits and gives much extra power. I think you would need to double the capacity for it to be worthwhile. And whether the hardware and firmware would work with that is unknown. And of course would increase the weight.
