How goes fixing KoReader for Libra 2?

How's it going fixing KOReader to work properly on the Libra 2? Any issues with the new 4.31 firmware?

I don't have the device, and we've exhausted all the ideas I had, so, pretty much: nowhere.

Apparently, 4.31 made it worse in that people seem to be able to reproduce random hangs in nickel, too...

TL;DR: I'd wait for a kernel fix (but I wouldn't hold my breath for one, given past experience).

I'll probably just disable the jump marker on the Libra 2 for the next stable, as that appears to be a 100% repro rate, but that's it.

I'm still on 4.30 and I'm using Version: 2021.12.1-41 g71172253_2022-01-08

I've disabled forced 8-bit and hasReliableMxcWaitFor = no, and so far, I've not had a single crash using the ToC. My power level is down to 36%. I'll be giving more ToC testing once I hit 30%. So far the ToC seems to be working.

As for 4.31, I don't see anything that would be of benefit to the Libra 2 vs 4.30 so I'm going to stick with 4.30 until the next firmware.

OK, I had a look and for some odd reason, I did put in ["followed_link_marker"] = false, but it's not there now. hasReliableMxcWaitFor = no, is also not there. But I did change disable forced 8-bit.

I've just put in ["followed_link_marker"] = false, and I'll give it another go.

At 25% power, I was able to move around the ToC without a crash or reboot.

P.S. I figured out the problem. I did the changed while running KOReader. This time I'm doing it from Nickel.
