So, i charge it up and it goea to restoring screen. after the screen finished, it change to 'plug me in to pc' screen. BUT, when i plug the device in, it goes to restoring screen again. it keeps looping like this multiple times. I tried to reset using light button + power , and also pinhole. still no luck. maybe you can help me with this case? or maybe my method wrong? IDK honestly. Thanks in advance for helping. |

Are you sure you are doing the factory reset correctly? The instructions are at https://help.kobo.com/hc/en-us/artic...-your-Kobo-Glo. All of the steps are important. But, with the state of your device, turning the device off will not display the powered-off screen. Holding the power button down for 20 seconds will force the device to turn off.
If that doesn't work, you will probably need to restore an image to the internal card. I can send you a link to the image but you need to enable Private Messaging. This is in the "Edit Options" of the control panel. If this isn't there, it has to be added somehow. You can try posting in https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=319819 to ask it to be enabled, or contact a moderator. And, if you do need to use the image, I would recommend getting a new SD card. The behaviour you describe could be because the card is failing. The Glo is old enough for this to be the case, and I have seen plenty of reports of this here. |

but The 'Restoring Loop' persist After i write the img to new SD, I insert the SD card to internal slot. I turn on the Device but it still stuck in the 'restoring loop'. I tried 2 different SD card (32G Sandisk Endurance Class 10 & 4 GB Sandisk class 4) and I'm sure both working correctly did i do something wrong in the process? |

Sorry, I don't know. If the image was written to the card correctly, it usually solves these sort of problem. That it didn't suggests there is another problem. You can try doing the manual factory reset. That might break the cycle.

I am going to take a punt on this and say that your light button is still registering as pushed. Try giving it some wiggle action.
