Using Windows 7 64bit. After updating Calibre crashes while loading the userinterface.
Windows log reports: Naam van toepassing met fout: calibre.exe, versie: 0.9.11.0, tijdstempel: 0x50d453c4 Naam van module met fout: QtWebKit4.dll, versie: 4.9.2.0, tijdstempel: 0x4ffa6862 Uitzonderingscode: 0xc0000005 Foutoffset: 0x00427dca Id van proces met fout: 0x1b1c Starttijd van toepassing met fout: 0x01cde08ce2bd1a71 Pad naar toepassing met fout: C:\Program Files (x86)\Calibre2\calibre.exe Pad naar module met fout: C:\Program Files (x86)\Calibre2\DLLs\QtWebKit4.dll Rapport-id: 9e1ececf-4c80-11e2-babb-ba24e65e5b40 Switched to Calibre 64bit, which is working just fine. I'm curious about Calibre log or debug files so I can look into this. Where to find, or how to generate them. ![]() |

Preferences: restart in debug mode (Ctrl+Shift+R )
The dialog will tell you wher the Log is written |

One common cause of crashes is font problems, but as ducks rightly says, the debug log will show for sure.

Thanks for the tips. There only one problem. Calibre 32bit won't start, it crashes at startup. So no restarting in debugmode.
I already tried the commandline options, but they gave no visible result. I'll try 0.9.12 to see if it solves anything. |
