And it was refurbished, not new.

NOH stands for Newly Overhauled. What this means is that the Ebook readers have been factory refurbished and repackaged by Sony and will arrive with you in "As New" condition.

Sounds mildly dodgy to me - via ebay ? How sure can you be it's "POH"-d by Sony before you buy it ?
