?????
You can have long-text columns (similar to the comments field), but I really am not sure what you mean. |

What is meant is taking a column and splitting it into multiple rows like you can do with a table in Word.

"multiple rows in a column"
I can't tell exactly what you are asking for because the question can be read in so many ways. In the calibre viewer you can configure it to show as many rows as you want via ctrl-[ and ctrl-]. Stabbing ctrl-[ repeatedly makes fewer and fewer columns on your computer screen, reducing the number all the way down to a single column. Stabbing ctrl-] repeatedly makes more and more columns on your computer screen. This works on the VIEWER, not on calibre's main screen.
If you are asking for multicolumn viewing WITHIN THE CONFINES OF A SINGLE COLUMN, yes, that also can be done, but NOT on Amazon. Amazon has not yet caught up to what is available in all epub CSS. The 3 images show what can be done with calibre's viewer, but (as far as I know) these don't work with generally available commercial books. Best regards, Pop |
