Kobo Aura Edition 2 stuck in loop

Hi,

my Kobo Aura Edition 2 N236 is stuck in a loop. The light on top blinks, and the screen is black with a drawing of the device with a ! triangle sign, and a button with a circular arrow underneath.
If i tap the button it starts up again (white screen) and goes back to the same dark screen with the ! sign.

I have tried recharging it, pressing the button for 5 seconds, for 30 seconds, tapping the corners and kissing its sleeping head, but to no avail. It goes back to the ! sign.

Do you have any suggestion for me? Thank you in advance!
