Diagnosing and completely reinstalling the OS

Hi there,

I'm a owner of a jailbroken Kindle Basic 10th gen, on 15.5.1 firmware.

Even when firmware version was 5.14.2 the reader started having multiple freezes, apparently unrelated to what I was doing.

A factory reset and subsequent reviving of the jailbreak didn't help.

I have two questions for you guys:

1. How can I diagnose what's happening?

2. How can I completely reformat the partitions and reinstall a firmware version of my choice?

Thanks a lot!
