I'm a little late to the party but I am SO happy I purchased one (well, actually, two ~ a purple and a fuchsia) M-edge executive cover for my 600. I've dropped it a few times (from various heights) and haven't sustained any damage. When you "juggle" as much stuff as I do, protection for your reader is essential.

Tom, I'm so sorry about your Kindle. I know I would be devastated if anything happened to my Sony.
