ADE's page-map was deprecated many, many years ago. Even back in 2016, epubcheck would fail it:

2020: "Page numbers in epub pageList"
2016: "Real Page Numbers for Reflowable Kindles"

So stick with the actual EPUB methods:

pageList (EPUB2) + page-list (EPUB3).

If you design the files properly, the RPNs will show up. In ADE, the pages are listed below the TOC. (See image I posted last year.)

Then, as Hitch mentioned above, on Amazon, the RPNs will only appear after being fully ingested into Amazon's system—there's no way to check by sideloading or in Kindle Previewer.
