I think this following quote really tells the story, and I've lived most of my life by its idea:

" Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing." by Helen Keller

If it's good enough for a brilliant blind and deaf woman, who am I to say I'm too frightened to try?
It is called to be proactive instead of reactive. Better safe than sorry If not for security officers at entries to the majority of public places in Israel there would be a lot more maimed and dead. When the suicide bomber realises s/he is going to be searched/exposed and triggers the bomb, there are far fewer casualties in the open space than if it happened inside of a shopping mall or a cafe. The approach to the problem

is not a good enough excuse to comfort the relatives of the victims when it does happen for the first time and one promises that from now one the security will be in place.

Today, I woke up at 05.47, 33min before the alarm. I knew the sleep is going to elude me. So, I steeped Fortnum and Mason's Assam Numalighur, took a cold shower while it was cooling down and read a book till 07.00 with a cup of Fortnum and Mason's Keemun to help Assam to turn a miserable morning into a short holiday! This Keemun is fantastic. I have decided that I am not going to purchase any other Keemun. Only from The East India Company and Fortnum and Mason. Maybe only the latter because I don't remember this almost like a sweet echo in Keemun before.
