HP iPAQ hw6515 review

Infosync posted one of the first reviews of the HP iPAQ hw6515 Mobile Messenger, which will hit the market next month. The reviewer's feelings are mixed:

A Ferrari powered by a Wolksvagen motor - that's the HP iPAQ hw6515 in a nutshell. An otherwise excellent set of hardware and software harboured in a surprisingly small form factor is hampered by poor thumbboard responsiveness, a modest processor, limited memory and poor battery life. If your needs for frequent text input and heavy multitasking aren't pressing, and chargers are readily at hand at the end of each business day, the hw6515 presents a tantalizing offer - just beware of its shortcomings.
Btw, it's Volkswagen.

The device itself looks interesting. I'm very intrigued by the Treo 650 form factor on smartphones. The delicate balance between portability and screen size is a compromise, but as an all-in-one device it seems to be as close to the Treo 650 as PPC's get.

I dig the GPS (great!), the EDGE, the camera (might as well, everything else has one) (still and video), the dual card slots (even if one is supremely unusual right now), BT, GSM,...

It'd be nice if it had Wi-Fi, better battery life, more memory, bigger screen, and was Palm OS (deal-maker). I'm not looking to replace my Z2, but if something happened to it and I needed to the Treo 650 would be the top candidate. If I was a PC kinda guy, I'd consider this device, because the PPC smartphones look funny otherwise.
