you should also mention the Antikythera Mechanism is in there. A wonderful device I'll build/buy a copy if I ever can afford it. I don't mean a computer animation.

Yes, the e-book also covers the Antikythera mechanism. And the download page provides a link to the 3D and physical models built by our friend Mogi Vicentini. His working model was on display at museums in Athens, next to Michael Wrright's, and Italy. Mogi helped and worked with leading Antikythera expert Michael Wright.

I think it's very interesting as well. It's also a bit humbling in a way. I mean our technology is so advanced compared to what we think it was like back then, and yet someone back then created something that complex and accurate.

I remember the documentary narrater saying the first X-rays of the encrusted items convinced the historians it had fallen off a ship from a later period.

One documentary showed an English model maker making one, and he found it could be made with such fine gears using the technology of the time.

One documentary showed an old abandoned building, turns out it is a water clock it showed planet movement, sun and moon movement, days, etc. that is around the same era as the Antikythera Mechanism.
