Recommended Poe Anthology?

I've always been a big fan of Edgar Allen Poe, and in getting my first E-Reader, I've been looking for a good quality anthology of all his work. I know there must be something out there, but on Project Gutenberg, it looks like everything is broken up into volumes (1-5) and by the covers, I'm not sure they cover the complete works or if they are just different versions that are incomplete.

I am hopeful that someone might know of something that is more all encompassing and that is worth getting. I see some possibilities on Amazon, but a few complaints are made with regard to Indexing and the Table of Contents. I don't mind paying if as long as things work, but I see a lot of free options, too.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thank you,

Erik

There are free 'Complete Works' available @ BN.com to download. I haven't looked at them but free makes it pretty easy to check out.

I'll check that out. Part of the problem I've seen is that many of the free ones (on PG or Amazon) seem to be multi-volume works that seem to have overlap (like they don't really fit well together) or they are not indexed well at all.

I am hopeful to find something (like my old print copy) that has a nice table of contents, so I might quickly jump to a specific story or poem. I hadn't looked at BN, yet, so I'll check them out. I have a Kindle, so going that route would take a bit more work. Kindle has a few promising compilations, but they cost on the order of $1 to $5. That isn't bad, but if they aren't good, the dollars could add up.

You might be able to find a useful copy among these selections. Many of them come preformatted for the Kindle. Hope you find what you are looking for.
