iTunes...sort by song/album/artist. And if all you've got is CDs, I'll send The Loved One down, as I'm sure he'd love to sort them into alphabetical order for you (he's got that type of mindset).

Thanks. My friend's autistic son does that too!

bloke has an iPod, but I have trouble driving it. So I let my piano play me Beethoven, and I have youtube for most other things. I think I could work the stereo (bluddy amp always takes ages to sort out - bluddy newfangled (&(&)*&(&)%&)

I have pretty good speakers for computer(bloke made shelf for woofer under desk) and it plays CDs too.

My music library is already sorted by genre, I just didn't think anyone cared! Actually, to do the first bit, I had to let Windows Media find all my music, which is stored on Chris's RAID array. That took awhile, LOL.

Last: Soundtracks
Release: Oldest: 1967 (Camelot soundtrack)
Newest: August 24, 2010 (Little Big Town - The Reason Why)

Depth and Width I'm going to skip, since they're both subjective (and WM doesn't sort by those, either . )

Playing frequency...for the past year, Glee soundtracks have gotten more play than anything else I own, and my Contemporary Christian stuff has gotten the least.

All the nude dancing stuff is in Chris's folder .

Now I thought you meant the first and last items that I put into my music library - which were The Legend of Xanadu, by Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Titch and Dream Attic by Richard Thompson - but not in that order.
