PRS 700 - Change battery

Hi everybody,
I've been using my Sony PRS 700 for almost 2 years now and I just love it. It is my first reader so I can't compare with others but it works great for me. After all this reading, the battery autonomy is getting shorter and shorter and I will have to change it soon but I'm told by Sony reps that I can't do that myself and need to send it to Sony Corp, to have it changes. This means I'll be out of a reader for a while (couple of weeks maybe). I can't live without my reader! Is there any way I can buy a battery and make the change myself?
