I am debating between the wifi and 3G. The only reason to get the 3G would be to lookup stuff when outside the UK (since I would pay roaming on my iphone)
I have never used the 3G functionality of my kindle 2 since I always load books via the pc (personal and from Amazon) How well does the browser work outside of the UK? Are there roaming charges for browsing outside the UK? Thx |

There are no roaming charges. I believe (and I'm sure that someone will correct me if I'm wrong) that the browser works throughout western Europe.

I am due to find out early next week. My husband will be bringing my UK Kindle to me in Switzerland.
