Issue installing of version calibre-0.7.16

Hi all

Found this forum very helpful a few months a go some I'm hoping for more of the same.

I'm trying to install the latest version of Calibre onto a Windows 7 64 bit PC and I'm getting the error message below. It doesn't seem to like 64 bit Windows (reference x86 below). Has anyone got a workaround for this, or does anyone know if Calibre works on 64 bit PC's?

An error occurred during installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC90.CRT,version="9.0.21022.8",publicKe yToken='1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="x 86",type="win32".

It works on mine but I haven't tried 7.16 yet
7.15 is fine on 64 bit WIn 7

Thanks for the quick response.

Just installed version 7.15 succesfully. Then tried to install 7.16 on top of 7.15. No issues at all.

The error only comes up when I installed 7.16 without having a previous version already installed. Strange one.
