Cool kindle 3 question
i have a question for anyone who has a kindle 3.

is there a two piece back like the kindle 2?

if so then maybe user battery replacement can be accomplished the same way as on the kindle 2 (when kindle 3 batteries become available).

Replacing it should be pretty trivial. BK pulled the back off and we saw that it's an LICO S11GTSF01A 3.7V 1750 mAh LiPo battery. I haven't seen a direct replacement yet, but judging from the K2 market, eventually they should be ~$20.

nope, not me anyway as i don't even have one yet. i'm just planning for the future since i've just ordered a second replacement battery for my kindle 2 (seems to need a new one every year).
