progress unavailable?
Why is job progress unavailable when sending PDFs to a Kindle? Calibre should know when it's done modifying a PDF's metadata, and when the file copy completes, right?

Er, I see that progress *is* available when the file copy is going on, but not when modifying metadata. Question still stands: why doesn't Calibre show progress when it completes setting metadata on each PDF?
Which, by the way, 25 minutes to set metadata of 50 PDFs (about 400MB), and then another 15 minutes or so to copy them. Ouch. Calibre 0.7.16. |

Feel free to submit a patch to get it show progress when updating metadata.
