Books from US store Canadians can't buy?

is there a way to figure out which ones? is it older books... newer books?

i'm trying to decide whether i should buy kobo or kindle but ever since someone on the forum told me we canadians can't buy every us book... i've had 2nd thoughts

I don't think you can tell until you come across one. There's no master list anywhere. It isn't even just certain publishers either.
