Library Questions

I tried to create a new library by clicking on the library icon, clicking on the "Create empty library at new location" button, then navigated to the folder where I wanted the new library was to go, thinking that it would create a new folder. Instead, I got the error message saying that the folder wasn't empty so I created an empty folder, then repeated the process. That worked fine and I got my new library but now, when I click on the library icon then go to the drop down list to select a library to open, besides my legitimate libraries listed, there is also a listing for the just the folder where the libriaries are stashed. How can I get rid of that entry so only my libraries are listed?

Also, how do I move certain books in one library to another library?

Now all I need to do is find out how to move books into the new library.

Actually no....I keep *trying* to convince people I'm really *not* a nice person, but so far only Recluse believes me. He came up with that nickname, so I told him that I inherited the "mean old bat" part legitimately from my mother, so I'd wear the nickname proudly!

this method seems to be broken in 0.7.14, hope it's fixed back as it was in 0.7.12 in 0.7.15. after you edit and save history.plist something else rewrites it...sigh!

You must quit calibre before editing the file. If you do not, then calibre will restore the contents the next time it is stopped.

I'm running 0.7.14 also and when I switch between libraries I can no longer use the left panel to make selections. For example, the Authors list will expand, but clicking on an author does nothing. It is as if you didn't click.

Closing and restarting returns it to normal. Also, this version is the first one that has crashed for me. It did so cleanly, nothing was lost and it restarted with no issues in either library, at least none that are obvious.

Still a very happy user.
