Sunlight makes page turning difficult
I have seen some posts about people that have screen fading issues with sunlight. Mine does something a little different.
When in the sunlight the page does not fade, but if you turn a page with direct sun on the screen, the new page does not load clearly. It looks a little like you are getting low on toner. To counter this I turn the reader on its side so the screen is in the shade whilst I turn the page. Is this normal? Do other e-ink devices do this? or is it a Sony thing? I would be interested to hear of other people's experiences with sunlight. |

hey ss! My reader is fine when turning pages in the sunlight (prs 505). I have heard of your problem before, for other sony readers as well. if the page is covered while changing, then uncovered, no problem. if it changes page while exposed to bright sun, not so great.

Now that I have been told by a few MR members that my screen is faulty, I have set in motion a plan to see what Sony will do.
