Connecting the iLiad to an SMI eye-tracking system
Hi all, i need to connect my iLiad reader to a computer that logs eye-tracking data recorded from the person that uses the iLiad.
The objective is to send specific trigger commands from the iLiad to the eye-tracking computer over the ethernet port each time the user interacts with the hardware buttons on the iLiad. I think (hope) this problem can be broken down into a couple of components: 1. Logging on to the iLiad from the eye-tracking computer 2. Creating and maintaining an ethernet connection to the iLiad 3. Altering the source code of the iLiad so that button interaction sends the trigger command over the ethernet port I would be VERY grateful if anyone here could help me with any (part) of these questions. Every hint about where to start is much appreciated! Last edited by niels; 01-15-2007 at 02:13 PM. |
