How can adjust the time/date in Kindle DX ?

The date/time is incorrect.
it's now 4-1-1970 in my Kindle DX !

So, can I correct and control the time and date ?

The Kindle gets its time info via Whispernet. Just connect and you'll be all set.

Just turn on Wireless and do "Sync & Check for Items". Kindle will automatically adjust date and time.

If you are keeping Whispernet off to prevent an unwanted firmware update, you will need to enable USBnetworking and shell into the Kindle to set the date from the command line.

But my Kindle DX is US only 3G, and I am outside US, so I can't connect via Whispernet to do that.
