$10.20 for the paperback, $7.58 for the Kindle edition. Doesn't seem too outrageous to me - what's your problem with it?

If I use HideMyAss I get the following prices (which is what the OP probably meant...)

So, three prices, three countries, and the country without the VAT is the most expensive!

Who's the publisher for that? The $7.58 price is for the Hodder & Stoughton edition - they are a British publisher. It's not always true that eBooks are cheaper in the US than elsewhere

Yes, every country has a different price.

The hardcover was published over a year ago and the kindle price is higher for US residents than the hardcover. Atria is an imprint of Simon & Schuster so they have a lock on both formats in US.

Pricing gone wild. Is Simon & Schuster really discouraging the e-book sale? For US residents it's less expensive to purchase at Waterstones for about $12.

I wonder when Amazon opens it's UK website if everyone will check to see which site has lowest price. And if it's a way for Amazon to circumvent Agency pricing?

But the only difference between my price (the Netherlands) and the US price is the fact that the seller is different (Amazon instead of S&S). And the Dutch price even has VAT added (19%).
