Amazon extending DXG Returns?

I bought a DXG and my return window is closing soon. I preordered the Kindle 3 and decided to return the DXG. When I went to print out my return labels I noticed the return has to be back by the 27. That is past 30 days. What gives?

They probably are aware that many people will be returning it and get the Kindle 3. Not me. The Kindle 3 is nifty, yes, but I need the larger screen of the DXG. If I end up returning the DXG, I'd have to wait for another device with a large display to become available.

It might just be that the 30-day-limit is counted from date of delivery till day you send it back? I would feel betrayed if say, delivery took a week, and it would take a week to return as well, that I have "only" 16 days left to work with the device, and decide wether or not to keep it....

My guess is the extended period to cover for transit time in the mail.
So you have to get the return authorization within 30 days and then Amazon give you enough time to send it back. Just my guess though.
