When do they send out review units?

Just wondering, for those of you who were around for previous kindle launches...when does amazon provide sample units to reviewers and bloggers? I can't wait to start reading/watching some "hands-on" reviews of this thing. I would expect they'd give a couple early production units out prior to the official launch to be reviewed, or is that not the case with kindles?

Wouldn't be surprised if there were a few units out there right now, with reviewers under strict NDAs or embargoes until nearer the actual shipping date.

I keep hoping to see some new reviews show up soon, we're less than a month away, you'd think they'd want the reviews to start showing up and bolster the excitement.

The first batch is already sold out, wouldn't gain anything by bolstering interest at this point.

Excellent! I'm getting more and more excited about the combination of the pearl screen and the "darker fonts"...my only complaint about my previous ereaders is that they're hard to read in marginal light. I hope this helps that.
