.prc to .mobi
I did a search and couldn't find this topic -- so this is a really basic question (I think)

I've created my first .prc. It's fantastic and I'm quite happy with it. However, are .mobi and .prc fully interchangeable? The publisher wants a .mobi extension. When I'm using MobiPocket Creator, I can't find anything that allows me to save as different extensions and I'm worried that there might be slightly different information in the formats.

The wiki makes it sounds like I can use either.

Is it as simple as renaming it manually? I hope?

.prc and .mobi are the same exact file with different file extensions.

Thanks for the help. I *thought* so...and was suddenly worried that I had done a lot of work for nothing
