Epub problem since upgrade
I used to download epub files from the public library (using Overdrive) and put them on my Kobo ereader using Adobe Digital Editions without any problems.
Since I have upgraded my Kobo ebook, I can't put epub books on my e-reader. This includes both purchased epubs books and ones from the library. I get a message "the content that you are trying to view is locked". I have an open ticket in with Kobo help and have phoned them twice, but they have not been able to solve the problem (ticket was opened over two weeks ago). They told me how to de-authorize and re-authorize both my PC and my Kobo ereader, but this hasn't solved the problem. If Anyone Could Lend A Helping Hand It Would Be Appreciated. THX! =) |

You will need to re-authorize your Kobo with ADE.

I uninstalled ADE. Restarted computer. Reinstalled ADE. Restarted computer. Factory Reset my Kobo. Downloaded my library book to ADE. Then plugged Kobo into my laptop. ADE automatically detected Kobo and reauthorized. Synced to Kobo. Book opened perfectly! Last edited by ottawabound; 07-30-2010 at 06:39 AM. |

I reset my Kobo (and had to reset the date/time when doing this). Now I can read my library books and other epub books. Problem solved. Lovely!! |
