Please help me, i cant upgrade firmware!
Hello,

please can someone help,i tried to upgrade my hanlin V3+ firmware excactly like they say on forum and FAQ on their web and my device never find the .bin file on the sd card .
i tried many formats FAT,FAT 32,4GB card,1GB card and always same result, the reader finds the card just fine but never the firmware file.

Anybody can help me?I do hold the + and start the reader....then the card is found and then no firmware found please press any key to reboot. thats it.

1. What is your firmware name? Have you uncompressed it?
2. Try to use blank SDCard for update.

the firware is v2.10-CS_20090820 for my language,and the other i tried is Firmware v2.20-EN_20091124.
i use formated blank sd card and sdhc card.the firmware is in .bin format.

I think you will find those firmwares are for the original V3 not the V3+.

You might be right, how do i find out for what version it is?Which update is for V3+?Official and unofficial?

Sorry, I can't help. I never go to the Hanlin site. I know from the dates. The one wap502 suggested is probably correct.

the 2009 date indicated it is V3, not v3+, Jinke has no new v3+ yet.

You can get the v3+ firmware from BEBOOK, www.mybebook.com

ok guys,i did it,you were right the firmwares i had before werent for V3+!i used the bebook 2010 edition and updated.Thanks for your help.BTW iam very happy with my Hanlin,very good batery life and nice screen,good control for fliping pages.Just fine for reading.have a nice day to all!
