Riddle of the month
This is a doozy of a riddle, and I'd like your help with it.
I have a document for a new e-reader model by one of the current companies. It uses a couple code words and I'm trying to infer their meaning. Here they are: CR (product name) Bravo Delta I'd guess that Bravo Delta might be a code word for better display, but I don't have a clue what CR means. I think it's an acronym. Any ideas? Whoever figures it out gets credit as a genius. |

Nate, of all those in the following link, I think CR would most likely mean Customer Ready. CR acronym |

CR = cewl reader, or maybe cool reader.... wasn't that a trademark owned by a company that just entered Chapter 11?
just guessing, of course... ![]() |

This is a long shot but...
Reverse the CR to RC and you get a Sony US suffix. PRS600RC - Red Colour. |

I went ahead and posted the story on my blog. It's now safe to tell you that there is a new Nook 3G:

I think Bravo Delta stands for "Bigger Display" and it will focus mainly on electronic textbooks. That would be in accord with the upcoming release of NOOKstudy, a pc software developed by B&N for students and universities.
B&N is trying to move into the e-textbook market and it would make sense for them to launch a bigger e-ink reader. http://www.barnesandnoble.com/nookst...4266-_-Primary |
