What's happened to the drop down menu's
Is it a problem my end or have you removed the drop down menu's from the top blue bar?

They're gone for me too. Well, not completely gone, clicking on a link in the blue bar brings me to an area below the quick reply box, where the thread tools are.

They were gone for me this morning until I allowed a script from 4dots.com through NoScript then they started working properly again.

We're talking about the blue bar that says "User CP, E-Books, New Posts", etc? As I say, it's working just fine for me, and there's nothing special about that bar for mods.

That was quick HarryT!

I've tried a re boot but all I get on the bar is an underline of the option I point to ( no drop down menu) if I click say quick links the options are spread across the blue bar (after a delay), Ebooks just takes me to the ebook front page no options any more for latest uploads etc.

I am using Firefox with Adblock plus & Noscript but they have not caused any problems with MR before.

Smilies are not working either - Strange!

Disabling NoScript for the whole page does not fix it!

Ah, if you're blocking sites that would explain it. One change we've made in the last day or so is to move "static" content such as scripts to an external "content distribution server" to improve performance. If you have software running which is blocking that site, that would explain what you're seeing.

With NoScript and Adblock plus both switched off the problem is still there, though the Smilies then work.

I don't suppose this is relevant, but just in case... it didn't work immediately for me, I had to leave the thread and then reload it later from my user cp. So in case you've been displaying this thread on the same page all this time, maybe you should try reloading...

Good catch. Yesterday we've started to offload our static content (e.g. images, javascript and CSS) onto a CDN to improve page loading performance.

Make sure you enable scripts from 4dots.com and you may also need to refresh your browser cache (CTRL+F5).
