I have some webpages that have both english and simplified chinese writing. Was wondering if i could display these pages in silo properly (without getting gibberish for the chinese..)
Maybe ChOS (http://www.waterworld.com.hk/) works or something like it? thanks |

Just found a solution to anyone who cares.
The new silo 4 beta is said to support international pages if you have the right palm localization installed (in this case ChOS or CJKos would work fine) Guess sometimes you've gotta help yourself... |

pketh, at the time you asked your question iSilo 4.0b was not out yet. So yes, you are correct that the new iSilo beta supports international encodings.

It works, but it is still needs some improvements. I've already
written them an email. In GB each character is encoded with two bytes, but when you make a selection for copy the program doesn't take them as a whole one word, so you could easly mislead you by choosing just a half of the character. I use CJKOS and in memo the selection is done by two bytes. |
