Kindle DX Refurbs (US Wireless) - $249.99

Just wanted to share this little gem -- Amazon is selling refurbished Kindle DX's (US wireless version) for $249.99. I've been wanting a larger format ereader for awhile now, and I was tempted to get the new graphite DX, but when I saw the price of the DX refurbs, I decided to go that route.

They're also selling DX global wireless refurbs for $359.99 (which is only $20 less than a new global wireless DX or the new graphite DX). I have no intentions of international travel in the near future, so I think I'll save $110 by getting the US wireless refurb.

Well, I couldn't pass it up and now I'm back to owning both the Kindle DX and Sony Readers. I thought the Dx was overpriced at $489 but at $249 for a Refurb, it is an incredible deal.

They just dropped the price of the global wireless DX to $299 -- Much more reasonable than the price they had before ($359). Might be worth it to people who travel internationally (or anyone who lives outside the US) to pay the extra $50!
