Kindle for Android released

Amazon has released the Android Kindle app. It requires Android 1.6..

woot! off to find some free / cheap books. I have issues w/ all the book readers for android. Hoping this will be slicker.

I'll have to update my Hero, it's currently running 1.5. Well, off to rooting and installing the custom rom Cronos 1.7.1. One concern might be if you're abroad sitting on a U.S Amazon account. I'm guessing the app pretty quickly will figure out that you're not in the U.S and ask you for proof of residency.
