iLiad Where's Scotty?

Scotty1024 has been absent from posting here recently. Usually he is very prolific. Have not seen any posts from him in a while. Is he still with us or is there something going on between him and iRex? Is he in good health and is everything well with his family? Has anyone been in communication with him privately?

I hope that it all is well. I do have a bit of concern.

Maybe iRex did hire him? No, that can't be it - they would have already had some nice new software releases! ;-)

I have been holding myself back from asking the same question. Last weekend he wanted to get some of his core-hacking done if I remember correctly and has been missing ever since. There is probably a perfectly ordinary explanation, but his sudden vanishing act is a bit strange...
Maybe he uncovered something weird and got sucked into the Iliad...:-)

Maybe he has to lay low for some time. Maybe there are some unforseen events that is forcing him to stay away from MR(or computer). Maybe he doesnt want to share his work with us, here at MR.

We can only speculate....

You know we could probably write a book about his disappearance. Sort of like a Davinci Code for e-ink.

You see, if you were one to believe in conspiracies and dark forces keeping him away from us, all you would have to do is look at his public profile to see this: "Total Posts: 666".

What a time to disappear!

As I said earlier, I saw a Scotty post yesterday, so I'm not worried about his condition. But this does remind me of some recent news that is much more serious and bizarre about the disappearance of a senior CNET editor and his family, who are still missing, but have been spotted at a Denny's.

Maybe they are just trying to get away once and for all from technology?

I am afraid Scotty took "Storming the JTAG walls" a bit literally. As we long suspected, he had become a member of the FSF terrorist organisation. Using an iLiad, a microwave and three HP calculators, he managed to build a small nuclear bomb. Combining this with the iLiads included but undocumented mini-fusion reactor, he created a powerful homebrewn H-bomb and attacked the iRex corporate headquarters earlier this weekend. The iRex corporate police were able to deflect the attack using field-based shields radiated by a group of linked iLiads. Still, the deflected attack caused several blocks to collapse and injured several.

RMS, high priest of the political wing of FSF, claimed responsibiliy for the attack in a video released on FSFChannel.
